The coronavirus, or COVID-19, still has the world in it’s grasp. But the world is starting to get pissed off. The United States was built on our forefathers that had an independent spirit. Venture into new lands and seek new opportunities. Hard work was the norm. This same spirit has fueled our advancements in technology and science. It is the individual spirit that transformed the US into one that is run by small business owners and entrepreneurs. I totally get it, the virus is fatal to those with medical issues and to the elderly and to all of those that have or will die from it and to their families and loved ones, I am so very sorry and my heart goes out to all of you.
But, the US is driven by it’s economy and the economy is on it’s knees. Thank God if you own or work for an “essential business”. For everyone else, you’re on your knees. The economy must reopen. Yes, people will get sick. Happens every year. That’s why we have “flu season”. MERS, SARS, and H1N1 didn’t shut down the economy and each one on it’s own killed more people than COVID-19. Don’t get me wrong, it is a tragedy anytime someone dies unexpectedly. It is a tragedy anytime one loses a loved one. But this sin’t about those who died. The same analytics that the governments are running still show that no matter what there will be anywhere from a 4%-8% loss of life. No matter what. It’s all about over running the hospitals and depleting the medical supplies. The US knew of the coronavirus back in December 2019. They knew more and more about it each and every day since then and yet the Feds didn’t even start ordering the medical supplies and equipment until late March 2020. Pretty much the same time they started issuing the “stay at home” orders and well after states started running out of supplies.
We the People are now suffering because we cannot go back to work. We the People want to go back to work. We the People need to go back to work.
